Free Golf Tips
Does your game need a little help? No matter how good a golfer a person is, we all can use a good tip now and then. Some of us more "now" than "then"! So browse through these free golf tips to find some great pointers:
Four Keys to Hitting a 460cc Driver - If you want to get the most out of your oversized driver (and today's balls), you might need to make some changes.
Three Keys to Successful Sand Play - Instructor Marty Fleckman explains the three keys to success from greenside bunkers: correct setup, proper technique and a consistent point of entry. He also gives us a drill to work on creating that consistent point of entry.
Donate Your Golf Clubs!
In connection with the BellSouth Classic, BellSouth (NYSE: BLS) and the BellSouth Pioneers will be collecting new and good used golf clubs, balls and tees to send to men and women serving in the U.S. military. In addition, all active-duty military personnel and their dependents will be admitted to the tournament free of charge with a valid military ID card. Clubs, balls and tees will be collected during tournament week at RE/MAX real estate offices and Golfsmith and GolfTEC retail stores throughout the nine-state BellSouth region.
The USO will distribute the clubs to U.S. soldiers serving at home and abroad. Individuals who wish to make a cash donation should send their
contribution to the USO at the address listed below. A comprehensive list of collection points and additional information will be available starting March 29 at http://www.bellsouth.com/classic. Donations are tax-deductible under the Internal Revenue Code 501(c)(3) designation and can be made by mail to:
